The Highlights of Golden Gate Park
Come join me for a walking tour of beautiful Golden Gate Park.
Learn about it's origin – from a bleak sand dune – to one of the most glorious parks in the US.
Discover it's evolution in art, architecture, and community spaces.

The Full Loop Tour: A 2.5 mile, 2.5-ish hour stroll. It includes all stops below.

If you'd prefer to do half the tour...
Part 1: 1.25 miles, 1.25-ish hour stroll ending at The DeYoung Museum.
Part 2: 1.25 miles, 1.25-ish hour stroll. Starting at The DeYoung Museum, it ends at Haight and Stanyan Streets.​

The walk is flat with the exception of the entrance and exit of The National AIDS Memorial Grove. Access is down stairs, a slope, or ADA ramp.
All tours are outdoors, so make sure to bring layers!
